Summer Youth Division

Summer Youth Division Classes – Register NOW

Mankato Ballet Company offers a wide variety of summer sessions and classes for all ages and styles of dance.  These can be a great way for new students to try MBC for a few weeks or for current students to stay up on their technique.

There is no registration fee for summer classes and no formal dress code.

This year we will feature a Punch Card System that will allow dancers and parents more flexibility throughout the summer.  Parents may choose the number of classes they think accommodate your summer schedule so you can take weeks off mid-summer for other activities, trips, vacations etc. MBC will handle the punch cards and track use through attendance.  If we feel a class size is getting to big based on enrollment, classes may be added to accommodate.

There will be no refunds or credits given for unused classes.

We hope that you will enjoy your classes with Mankato Ballet Company and we look forward to welcoming you to the studio this summer.

Summer Dress Code

Dancers attending for summer sessions do NOT need to purchased a class leotard as we will be using the summer to place them for the fall. Our dress code is more lax in the summer, but we do prefer that all dancers taking ballet are in a leotard of some kind, tights and ballet slippers. Skirts are permitted in ballet classes. Hair should be pulled off the face and in a bun for intermediate and advanced classes.

For Tap, Jazz and Conditioning all dancers taking jazz are in leggings and a form fitting shirt.  Ideally solid colors so there are few distractions.  Tap shoes are preferred and highly recommended in order fully participate in the class. Hair should be pulled off the face and in a bun or pony.

Shop our store in the lobby for fun leos, skirts and warm ups!
